Eat Smart Nutrition helps Olympic athletes go for their London dreams

Holly, Kerry, Jess and Joseph have all had a hand in helping a number of our Olympic athletes towards their dreams of success in London next month. Holly has been working with the Queensland based members of the womens water polo team - The Stingers. Queensland is supplying 6 members and a reserve to the team - with a mix of experienced campaigners and some new faces. They are a great medal chance, so keep your eye on them! Joseph has been similarly looking after the Queensland based Aussie mens players from The Sharks. Kerry, Holly and Jess have given nutrition support to a number of our top swimmers and long jumpers through the Queensland Academy of Sport programs. Plus Holly has helped one very excited judo athlete from Brisbane qualify for his first Olympics. More later!

  1. Just found your great website whilst scouring the internet looking for information on how to help my son gain weight whilst building muscle.
    He is a 16YO; 74kg and 1.89tall; and a keen rugby union player;
    he has just finished the local season; won best forward for the club and best rep player in our region and is going to boarding school next year in Qld to chase his rugby goal (playing as much good rugby as he can whilst fit and young)
    He would love to gain weight at least 11kgs;
    and I am trying to feed him 6 meals a day of nutrient and caloric rich food with 3 supplements of ‘Massive carb:protein’ shakes on full cream milk.
    I have calculated he needs to have his calorie intake to 5000.
    Any advise guidance would be very appreciated.

    1. Hi Trisha,
      Thanks for your email. Eat Smart would be happy to help you and your son. We see a lot of Footy players in the same position and have plenty of ideas to help achieve his weight gain goal. If you would like to book an appointment at a clinic of your choice, we’d be happy to design a meal plan to achieve this. All the details about our clinics are available on We look forward to seeing yourself and your son soon,
